What is up in the studio today?

Just listed some new card sets, some adult valentine cards, a ISIS inspired bracelet and a peace notecards set on Etsy.  Check them out at http://www.arenacreative.etsy.com/  Doing a few St. Patricks Day items.  Tomorrow will list a 5 pack of Irish themed notecards.

Waiting from some copper paint to dry, it's going on a delicious set of notecards tomorrow... stay tuned!

Finished up a cute Fairy ACEO today, always looking to trade ACEO's!

I started an ACEO book today. Saw an ideal photo book at A.C. Moore's today and got it going.  I love ACEO's and wonder if I will fill the book by the end of the year.... I think I have about 8 in there now (none of mine, just what I have bought and traded with others!)

Found some wonderful additions to my supply collection at A.C. Moore's today...

It is soooo cold here in PA today.  It's been zero.  I feel sick, that is how cold it is. I am in a constant state of goosepimples. brrrr.

Arizona heat.... I always have said I don't think I could stand it again (after living there for 30 plus years)
BUT... I am beginning to change my mind.

The Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes Barre is going to be hiring/training 500 folks as dealers.  They just approved table games here in PA and the casino is ready to get started.  I put in my application, just to see if I would have any luck.  I've got an odd smattering of job applications in, it's like I am just trying to find my niche!

Here's some photos of my pooches: Warlock in the sweater, Bear in the scarf! (Both items purchased handmade from Etsy!)

Cheers!

Destash drawing on February 14th

customers of http://www.suppliez.etsy.com/ -- every dollar in purchases will equal one entry in my destash drawing starting today 1/26/10 and ending 2/13/2010 at midnight.  Drawing will be during the day on 2/14/10.
I am attaching pictures of the destash. It's huge.  It weighs 1 pound, two ounces.
It has a little bit of everything, lots of nice pearls, beads, charms, copper, pewter and more.
Another way to enter the drawing is to twitter something from my arenacreative.etsy.com shop.
Send me a convo or note here with your twitter username so I can follow you! I am ValerieArena on twitter.
Each twitter that features an item from my arenacreative shop equals an entry.  Limit five entries per day via twitter.  No limit in entries from purchases.  If you purchase from my http://www.suppliez.etsy.com/ shop, you needn't do anything.  I will record the entries and use random.com to secure my winner on Feb 14, 2010.
Thanks!!!!!

Any questions, convo me!

Hearts for Haiti

My little contribution... to the Hearts for Haiti (Doctors without Borders) fundraiser.

These will be coming up for sale on the Hearts for Haiti website soon hopefully.  I have donated these items to them.

Please visit their shop and consider a purchase to help the cause. Thanks!

Almost time to breathe....

It's been a bit hectic, some decent sales and I've got some last minute specials in my shop in case of any last minute shoppers.

I've moved up into the functional attic space this week also....so have been getting my studio set up and had my first working time in it yesterday - it was very fruitful... I listed many new items last night!

I'm personally looking forward to the new year... I hope to have some major changes in 2010.

Just got a new banner in my shop, thanks to the great vision of Urthwerm!

Happy Holidays to all, and a joyous and properous 2010!!!!!
